My name is Helia Jalilnezhad. I am a dancer, a model, an actress, a poet and an author, and I was born in Iran. I am also a spiritual guide and a healer. I grew up in a country where women are not allowed to sing or dance in public, and I spent my whole life refusing to accept that.

Today I teach women sacred movement and help them come home to their bodies and strengthen their voice. I stand for the freedom of women, and I am a voice for Mother Earth and for the animals I am

here to protect.

If you do not know me yet, this is my story.

Ages 4–6

I started dancing when I was four years old. No one put me in classes or taught me. I can dance more than thirty different styles, and I never learned any of them in a studio.

My mother saw it in me early, and when I was six she took me to Dubai for my first competition.

Age 14

I had an awakening at fourteen. I started writing poems, more and more of them, and I would go to poetry nights in Iran and sing them. That same year I wrote my first book, I'm Not Alone, We Are Not Alone. It was about children and creation, and about where we come from.

At Age 16

I took off my hijab and danced in the street. In Iran a woman can be arrested for singing or dancing in public, so this was never only about dancing — I knew that at any moment they could arrest me and punish me, but my heart was full of love, and I had no fear.

People were shocked. They stopped and started filming me right there on the street, and I was the first woman to do this so openly. My videos spread fast: the first one was seen fifty million times, another thirty million, another twenty-two million; Being shared through major news channels and newspapers.

Age 17

At seventeen I published my second book, A Heart Full of God (دلی از تار و پود خدا). It was about God, the universe, and the soul. Whatever I earned from it I gave to charity, to children who were sick.

The same year I won first place in Mohammad Khordadian's dance competition. Mohammad was the first man in Iran to dance. The government did not want him to dance and forced him out, so he escaped and taught abroad. I also competed in Georgia, and won there too.

At Age 18

When I was eighteen, the regime came for me. I was living on my own. They broke down my door, put me in handcuffs, and took me away. At the court I had no lawyer and no time to find one. They wanted to give me eight years. I called my mother, who was abroad teaching a makeup course, to say goodbye, and she reminded me to tell them about my sacred book. I gave the judge my book about God and the soul. He read it, and he cried. He said, "You have a good heart." He let me go, and told me this was the last chance he would give me.

After that I had to leave Iran, and it happened in two hours. There was no time to see my father, my family, or my friends. No time to say goodbye to anyone. I left everything behind. When I left, I was all over the news. It was a deep pain to feel there is no place for you in your own country, and to walk toward somewhere you do not know.

I went first to Turkey, and then to Canada. I arrived knowing no one. No friends, no family. Only my mother, who has stood beside me through my whole life and my whole journey. I had started working in fashion at eighteen and was named Miss Teenage Iran in 2018, and in Canada I began acting and modeling more seriously, walking runways and appearing on magazine covers as an Iranian celebrity.

Ages 24-25 · Miss Persia

At 2024 I became Miss Persia and represented my country. At twenty-five I held the title again and traveled to Thailand and Cambodia for an international competition. There were 110 women from all over the world, each representing her country. I wanted to show people what an Iranian woman is. We are brave, strong, and beautiful, and I wanted to share our ancient culture and where we come from.

That same year I went to live in Mexico working with different Indigenous cultures. I worked very hard on myself. I cleaned out old pain and karma, healing my body and my spirit, and became a whole new person.

This is when my purpose became clear. My work is to bring awareness, healing, and awakening through music and dance.

Looking back on my life, dancing on the street at sixteen in my home country, standing for the freedom of women, becoming a fashion model, and going deeper into my healing journey with feminine wisdom, I saw that every part of it was leading somewhere.

Origins was born from that. It is how I bring everything I have lived and everything sacred I have learned through prayer and movement into one path. A way to use dance and movement to heal, and to reconnect to the natural forces of who we are as women: water, wind, fire, and earth.
